Absolem Cider Barn, Winthrop c.1850

This project centered around a barn on the property that is fast becoming Absolem Cider Company in Winthrop, ME. The project was to repair the south eave wall of the building and the accompanying rafters and tie beams as needed. It was an exciting, physical job that featured hand planed, locally sourced Eastern White Pine timbers matching existing framing and setting up the building to handle the companies ambitious plans.
